We need a little routine around here

So, I had a baby back in August 2014. And now seven months later, I have yet to find a workable routine for my two gradeschool children. It's rough with the baby, he demands most of my free time. I have to leave it up to the big kids to get themselves ready in the morning and again in the evening. I turn into the Grinch when I have to repeat myself, therefore I came up with an idea that should simplify things, and I won't be put on repeat.

I decided to make these "to do list "boards for each child, I used permanent marker on a dry erase board, so that they can check off the boxes without erasing the entire thing.

It was super simple and all I needed was $2 to buy the dry race boards from dollar tree, some permanent markers, a ruler for the lines, and patience!

I hope this is helpful to at least some of you.

Be Blessed,

Michelle

This is such a busy weekend! We're celebrating International Scrapbooking Day all weekend. Are you having fun participating in all the sales and events? Well here's another something to do. Kelly's got a new blog challenge ready for you. This month's theme is Hollywood Studios. It's a great park with lots of fun rides, shows and characters. Look through all your photos to see which one you'd like to scrap for this challenge.

CT member Amy has created the participation prize. It's a gorgeous word art title and cluster frame. So pretty! Another prize you'll want to make sure you get. But you only get it if you submit a layout for the blog challenge.

Here are the rules and instructions to participation in the Monthly Blog Challenge:
  • Scrap a page that shows off having fun at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This can be from rides, park scenery, shows, meals and snacks or character meetings.
  • Use as many photos as you'd like.
  • Use as many elements and papers as you'd like.
  • While the instructions are written for Walt Disneyworld, please adapt them for any of the other Disney parks around the world.
  • Layouts should be made with 100% Kellybell products or freebies (you are allowed to use a template from another designer). You are welcome to submit more than 1 layout.
  • Post your layout into the Challenges Gallery at Kellybell Designs by midnight EST May 31st. Participation prizes will be sent to the email address you have listed with Kelly's gallery so make sure you're registered and logged in before posting your layout.
The random winner of a store gift certificate will be announced the first week of June. That's also when the participation prizes will be sent out.

Here are a few of Kelly's kits that might spark some inspiration for the Hollywood Studios blog challenge.

Duffy The Bear Kit and Blog Train from KellyBell Designs

Wow, so much stuff is happening this weekend. The first Saturday in May is celebrated as International Scrapbooking Day. People across the globe celebrate their love and passion for scrapbooking. We celebrate all forms of scrapping from paper, hybrid, pocket and digital. Everyone loves to capture and document their precious family memories.

To celebrate this big event, Kelly has lots of events planned.

First, everything in the store is priced at 40% off. This excludes bundles and gift certificates. This is a great time to go shopping in the Kellybell Designs Store.

Next is a free kit. Yes, you heard that correctly, Kelly is offering a free kit. But it's only free on Saturday - one day only. The kit is called Duffy The Bear. It's a gorgeous kit inspired by that world traveling teddy bear named Duffy. Take a look.

Kelly also has made a set of page starters, paper stacks, word art and journal cards that coordinate with this new kit. These can be purchased separately in the store.

Isn't that just a fun collection! Everyone loves teddy bears. They're so soft and cuddly. And who can't resist a teddy bear that belongs to Mickey Mouse? Let's take a look at how you can scrap with this collection.

Kelly's kits are so versatile. Even though this collection was inspired by Duffy, the colors and nautical elements are perfect for scrapping your photos from a Disney cruise or stays at the Yacht or Beach Club. Here's a page that I made.

Kelly and her Creative Team have a fabulous blog train for you today. You might remember a Girls Only Paper Stack blog train from last year. Well now it's time for the boy characters to have a turn. The theme for this blog train is Boys Only Paper Stacks. It features lots of papers with boy characters. Have fun collecting all of them and leave some love for the girls.
